Improved efficiency & responsiveness with custom cube maps Shader build caching for faster application boot, scene load, and general editing Greatly improved PSD and HDR loading speed Zbrush Polypaint support through OBJ files Vertex color support for albedo and ambient occlusion Improved local reflection quality reduces smearing and other artifacts Camera are now fully transformable & selectable objects > See Also: Marmoset Toolbag tutorial New Features are : - Sky browser with thumbnail previews However seems that the painting layers are always correct inside Painter viewport.Marmoset LLC has announced that its Realtime Artist's Toolkit Marmoset Toolbag 2.04 is now available and delivers greatly expanded camera controls, vertex color support, ZBrush's "Polypaint" support, new Sky Light modes, and more. Painter doesn't invert the normal map when converting the project. I am missing some step for the conversion workflow because maybe it is not so implicit or the maps need to be rebaked (and by the answer Vincent gave I believe they don't)Ģ. Since I'm just a novice, it leads me to think to possibilities:ġ.

The maps showed wrong high poly baked normals but correct painted normals. Re-Exported, this time OpenGL Normal and then imported into ToolbagĦ. When pressed Flip Y the maps showed wrong high poly baked baked normals and correct painted normals (as it should do when flipping).ĥ.

The maps showed correct high poly baked normals but wrong painted normals. Imported into Toolbag (which is OpenGL based)Ĥ. Converted the project from DirectX to OpenGL from the Project settingsģ. However, I was thinking that maybe my initial error, that is exporting DirectX maps insted of OpenGL maps for Toolbag, can help to fence the problem:ġ.
